High Cotton |
| These boards have a high content of cottonseed
oil that has been impregnated into the wood over the years of use
in a textile mill. This non-toxic oil puts a unique shade to these
boards and their weight can be twice that of other heart pine boards.
This wood requires special finishing techniques. These boards can
also contain many nail holes and some bolt holes(some bolt holes
filled with wooden plug). This flooring will provide a darker, richer,
appearance than any other grade. Made in T&G Center-Matched
style with bullnose tongue for easy installation and maximum coverage.
This style of flooring makes it possible for you to determine your
own grade, as one side of the boards will sometimes show more nail
holes, color, or character marks than the other.
